The
Company
EvangelismTickets, Inc. is a
faith-based company located in Houston, Texas providing an on-line ticket solution for
churches and faith-based organizations who want to utilize the Internet to sell tickets, process event registrations, and generate sponsorships. We also believe every Christian event should be an outreach event, and to that end, have introduced a strategy that every church, every Christian radio station, college, and promoter should embrace, as we jointly establish a new paradigm in how evangelism is done.
The company is managed by a team of seasoned entrepreneurs, bringing a myriad of skills to the table including corporate development, management, marketing, sales, public relations
and IT. The Management Team is supported by an Advisory Board of notable leaders
in the Christian business community.
Founded in 2001, the company
completed its research and development in the spring of 2004, and launched
EvangelismTickets.com in July of 2004.
The
Strategy
In a survey recently completed in December, six
hundred and sixty-four (664) churches and faith-based organizations throughout
the country were contacted to introduce a new outreach strategy called
'Evangelism Tickets'. Seventy-six percent (76%)
of the sample, including churches representing more than a dozen denominations,
Christian radio stations, Christian colleges and independent Christian event
promoters, said they would implement the strategy in 2006,
creating a new paradigm for how unchurched individuals are invited to Christian
events.
The strategy is a simple one: Buy a ticket for an
unchurched friend to attend a Christian event for free. It is a form of
outreach that works for any workshop, seminar, conference, retreat, golf
tournament, concert, pageant, theatrical performance, mission trip, banquet,
youth camp or outing -- any event requiring a fee to attend. Smith
believes that most successful evangelism is relationship-based and is best
initiated and administered by the local church. Attending quality events
is the most non threatening introduction to a church family.
Mel
Gibson's, 'The Passion of The Christ' proved that Christians
are willing to provide complementary admission to an event they believe in.
Evangelism Tickets as a strategy can be embraced and implemented by virtually
every church and faith-based organization in the country. It is a strategy
initiated locally, supported by local congregations for the benefit of neighbors
and friends to attend their own events. The average man or woman in the pew,
traditionally reticent to participate in outreach, now has a tool that can be
used without fear or extensive training.
Mission
Statement
The mission of
EvangelismTickets.com is twofold: To promote a national
outreach strategy called Evangelism Tickets, tickets purchased
by sponsors and donated for the complimentary use of others to attend Christian
events, and to provide on-line technology for churches and faith-based
organizations to sell and distribute Evangelism Tickets via the Internet,
creating opportunities to impact the culture by exposing 'lost' people to the
Truth of the Gospel.
The sole basis of our belief is the
Bible, which is uniquely God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on
all matters on which it bears. As the Bible teaches, there is one God, eternally
existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each possessing all
the attributes of Deity.
God created humans to have fellowship with Him,
but they defied God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, we need God's
saving grace to end our alienation from Him. Salvation comes only through God's
saving grace — not human effort — and must be received personally by repentance
and faith.
Jesus Christ, second Person of the Trinity, lived a sinless
life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our
substitute. This accomplishes salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in
Him alone. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between us and God. He
will return to earth to consummate history.
The Holy Spirit draws sinners
to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church.
The church's role is to glorify God and serve those in need. At the end,
everyone will experience bodily resurrection and the judgment. Those forgiven
through Christ will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.
